I use a wide variety of mediums to express stories that explore abstract spaces. The moments between emotions and time that create unique experiences. I’m interested in our outward expression of self and the relationship we hold with that version of self. Along with our interpretation of the world, how we see it, and how it sees us. When asked to be ourselves, what does that mean and what does it entail? And what privileges we must have to fully express ourselves. These ideas I want to break down, the emotions and space they take up are disassembled and reassembled into stories before creating a piece. Visually I take inspiration from the intersection of human and nature. I enjoy natural, organic forms, and the intervention of humans along with the manipulation of the human form.
